Hi, I’m Josselyn.

I was born in Honduras, proudly served as a U.S. Navy veteran, and today I’m blessed to be a wife, mother, and the founder of North Star Boutique.

This boutique began with a simple shopping trip.

A few years ago, my oldest daughter and I spent hours searching for a dress. We walked every store in the mall and left empty-handed. We weren’t looking for perfection—we were simply looking for something beautiful, elegant, and modest.

That day, I realized how difficult it had become for women to find clothing that reflected their values without sacrificing style.

It also made me ask a much bigger question:

How do we remind women that their greatest beauty isn’t found in what they reveal, but in who they are?

We live in a world where social media constantly tells women that their value comes from appearance, comparison, and approval. At North Star Boutique, we believe something very different.

We believe your worth is inherent. It isn’t earned by trends, body shape, or likes on a screen. Every woman has infinite value because of who she is.

That’s why every piece we choose is selected with purpose—to help women feel beautiful, confident, feminine, and true to themselves.

The North Star has guided travelers for centuries. It remains steady, pointing the way even in the darkest nights.

That’s exactly what I hope this brand will become.

A reminder that we were each created for a sacred purpose. A reminder to stay true to our values in a world that is constantly pulling us in another direction. A reminder that elegance, modesty, strength, and femininity can beautifully exist together.
